In December 2017 we visited the Andreus Golf Lodge in beautiful South Tyrol for a long weekend. Before the Christmas stress we enjoyed 3 days of wellness and luxury in the mountains.
The hotel, lovingly managed by the Fink family, opened its doors on 1 April 2017. The hotel has 30 beautifully furnished suites, either with a view of the lake and garden landscape or the beautiful mountain world. The rooms have an infrared cabin or a freestanding bathtub, large panoramic windows and a spacious balcony. The De Luxe Suites are additionally equipped with a whirlpool on the terrace.
The 4000 sqm spa area has a lot to offer:
- Two-storey Finnish sauna with panoramic front
- Alpine herbs organic sauna
- Steam bath
- Event sauna with outdoor Kneipp pool
If you want to harmonize body, mind and soul you will certainly find the right thing for you with the large selection of massages, beauty and care treatments.
My personal highlight was the 28 meter long outdoor Infinity Pool embedded in the 550 square meter large natural swimming pool which is heated all year round. The Mediterranean Garden and the panoramic terrace invite you to relax. The resting areas also offer plenty of space for relaxation.
For the active among us, the hotel offers yoga, Pilates, hiking tours and other activities in the region. The 18-hole golf course makes every golfer’s heart beat faster. The many lakes, hillside and sloping positions and old groups of trees offer a lot of variety and challenge for beginners as well as for experienced players. The golf course offers an incomparable flair due to its great location amidst high mountains.
Relaxation also makes you hungry. In the morning the hotel offers a rich breakfast buffet that has something to offer for every taste. From yoghurt, cheese and butter from local farmers, fresh bread variations from the baker next door to individually prepared egg dishes, everything can be found. In the afternoon cakes from the hotel’s own patisserie and rich, light meals are served to satisfy hunger until dinner. In the evening you can enjoy a 6-course à la carte menu. 
I could rave many more lines, because the house really has a lot to offer! Personally I felt very comfortable and welcome. The entire staff was always friendly and courteous and took care of the well-being of every single guest.
However, it is best if everyone gets their own impression of this wonderful place of rest and relaxation.
